Knowledgxchange ("KXC", "we", "us") operates the website at knowledgxchange.com — an AI-powered learning path platform that helps professionals upskill and prepare for AI disruption in their careers.
2. What we collect
- Account data — your name and email address when you register or sign in with Google
- Profile data — your career goals, experience level, and learning preferences you provide during onboarding
- Learning data — the paths you create, courses you complete, and resources you add
- Usage data — pages visited and features used, to improve the product
We do not collect payment information (no paid plans currently).
We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. How we use your data
- To build and deliver your personalised learning paths
- To send you transactional emails (welcome, path created, resources added)
- To respond to contact enquiries
- To improve KXC's AI recommendations
4. Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a secure database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Sessions are encrypted.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@knowledgxchange.com.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us at info@knowledgxchange.com to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
